Colombo Airport – Kegalle – Kandy

Participate for EFP Project (Elephant freedom project
Overnight in Kandy
Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be warmly greeted by your chauffeur/guide and transferred to Kandy via the Kegalle VET Project. There he will participate in elephant food preparation, elephant bathing, elephant walking and tea time. Later, drive to Kandy, where he will have dinner and spend the night in Kandy.
Day 02
KANDY TREKKING

Overnight in Kandy
After breakfast, arrive at the trail start point. Day 03
KANDY-KITHULGALA-TANGALLE

2 Hrs approx. to Kithulgala/ 5 Hrs to Tangalle
Enjoy Whitewater rafting
Overnight in Tangalle
Depart to Kithulgala in the morning after breakfast, and enjoy white water rafting on the Kelani River for approx. 1 hour. Have lunch at a local restaurant and proceed to Tangalle (Southern coast). You will have dinner and an overnight stay in Tangalle.
Day 04
TANGALLE – REKAWA

Beach cleaning, cooking demonstration, orientation and turtle nesting observation
Overnight in Tangalle
After breakfast, you will head to Rekawa Beach where you can have a beach cleanup activity, which will be an interactive session. Later, you will go to a local house where you will be taught how to cook basic Sri Lankan meals and have lunch there. In the afternoon, head to Rekawa Beach again to watch turtles nesting in the dark. Dinner and accommodation in Tangalle.
Day 05
TANGALLE – EMBILIPITIYA – UDAWALAWE

Service project at school, Udawalawa national park safari
Overnight in Tangalle
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and head to Embilipitiya, where you will participate in a service project with a rural school in the area. Interactive, knowledge-sharing, and entertainment sessions will be organized for students. Later in the evening, you will be taken to Udawalawa National Park, which is one of the largest national parks in the country and is renowned for its elephants. Continue back to Tangalle. Dinner and accommodation in Tangalle
Day 06
TANGALLE – SOUTH COAST

Tea plantation and Tea factory visit with interactive games, Galle Dutch fort heritage site visit, Turtle hatchery and conservation visit, Interactive tradition dancing and drumming session.
Overnight in Bentota
Post breakfast, proceed to Galle. En route, stop at the Virgin White tea plantation and factory to learn about the tea-making process from the ground up. Later, the Galle Dutch fort was visited to gain an understanding of the architectural and historical value of the site. In the evening, you can visit the turtle hatchery and conservation center in Kosgoda. Finally, at the hotel, a cultural dance show with a drumming session will be conducted. Dinner and an overnight stay in Bentota
